English made sidelock ejector .410 gauge game gun with 27" blacked round nitro proved chopper-lump barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 3" cartridges and choked modified & modified. The rib is engraved in gold "Asprey" and roll marked "NEW BOND STREET, LONDON." The coin finished action body and lockplates are engraved with English Arabesque scrolls. Bottom of the action body is Gold-inlaid "Asprey London". The action is fit with Holland & Holland style assisted opening mechanism, gold lined cocking indicators, a top lever with both sides of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by an engraved, right side rolled trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with the gun's serial number. Deluxe quality straight hand grip walnut stock with drop points, engraved stock oval and a splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 15" LOP to a checkered butt, 5 Lbs. - 4 Oz. The gun resides in the maker's single leather case with canvas cover.
