28 gauge Italian made game gun with 28" blued Excelsior High Strength Alloyed (H.S.A.) steel barrels fit with ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers, machined ventilated top rib with brass bead front sight and steel middle bead, solid side ribs and Beretta's interchangeable Mobilchoke tubes. The coin finish sideplated boxlock action is engraved with game scene vignettes with supporting scrolls that the engraver "Bottega C Giovanelli" signed on the right side of the trigger plate. While the left side of the trigger plate is marked "Made in Italy" over "Patented". The right sideplate is adorned with a scene of 4 partridges in flight over a field while the left sideplate is adorned with a scene of 2 woodcocks - one coming in for a landing and the other on the ground in a field. The bottom of the action body features a portrait of two dogs head above tall grass. Both sides of the action body have "P. Beretta Giubileo" in script inside a shield surrounded by scroll borders towards the front-top while the bottom of the action body is reads "BERETTA" a top the dog portraits. The boxlock action is fit with a single selective trigger protected by a coin finished scroll engraved trigger guard extending to a long engraved bottom strap and safety, the scored slide safety incorporating the barrel selector. Deluxe Turkish walnut stock with straight hand grip, vacant stock oval and game forend with Deeley style lever release and a 14-1/2" LOP to a wooden buttplate. Weight of gun is 6 Lbs. - 2 Oz. Shotgun resides in maker's ABS Case
