An Italian built 28 gauge over & under game shotgun fit with 28 inch round blued steel barrels that are nicely fit with ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers, interchangeable multi-chokes and has a solid tapered file cross cut top rib and a brass bead front sight. The left side of the top barrel is roll marked '28 ga. 2 3/4" - 70 - 28". Top of the rib near the breach is engraved 'Beretta' in script. The coin finished action body and pinless locks are engraved by G Arkl in Beretta's 2S1 pattern style of Renaissance ornamental motifs executed as bold foliate scrolls while the bottom has 'Beretta' in script and 'MADE IN ITALY' in a banner. The sidelock action is fit with a single trigger that is protected by an engraved trigger guard with right side rolled edges extending to a long bottom strap with model designation and an automatic safety with "S" engraved ahead of the checkered slide safety. The serial number is marked on the top strap. The top lever is scroll engraved with a gold-inlaid crown and the thumbpiece is pierced. The gun is fit with a nicely figured reddish-brown deluxe quality walnut stock with semi-pistol hand grip and drop points. The sporting/game fore-end with Deeley style engraved lever release is gold-inlaid with a gold-inlaid shield that has a gold border, Initials 'PB' with a supporting wreath on the bottom. Interior metal of with serial number. 15-1/4" LOP to a 1" brown leather covered recoil pad.
