A 12 bore sidelock game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. The rib is engraved with the makers details. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked modified & full. The action body and lockplates are Rose & Scroll engraved with a coin finish. The lockplates are engraved "H. MONK." by barrels. The action is fit with a concealed third fastener, double triggers, blacked engraved top lever with left side checkered thumbpiece and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with English straight hand diamond grip, vacant gold stock oval and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 14-5/16" LOP to an ebonite buttplate, Cast Off 1/4" at face, 6 Lbs. 3 Oz.
