English made sidelock ejector 12 gauge game gun with 29" blacked round nitro proved chopper-lump barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered matte concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked skeet & modified. The right barrel is roll marked: 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' while the left barrel is roll marked: '98. NEW BOND STREET, LONDON.' The coin finished action body and lockplates are engraved in traditional Holland & Holland 'Royal Scroll'. Both lockplates are engraved "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" in arched banners and 'ROYAL SELF-OPENER' PATENT.1922' on bottom of the action body. Gold-inlaid number '1' upon the top lever, rib near breech and fore-end escutcheon tip. The action is fit with Holland & Holland's patent assisted opening mechanism, Holland's patent hand detachable locks, gold lined cocking indicators, a blacked engraved top lever marked 'HOLLAND EJECTOR' with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by a blacked, engraved, right side rolled trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with the gun's serial number. Best quality straight hand diamond grip walnut stock with drop points, engraved stock oval (K.J.C) and a splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 14-3/4" LOP to a checkered butt, 6 Lbs. - 7 Oz.
