A 12 gauge game gun with 28” nitro proved dovetail barrels with rib extension third fastener that are fit with ejectors, 2-3/4” chambers, tapered smooth concave game rib and brass front bead. Top of rib reads "I. HOLLIS & SONS. BIRMINGHAM.". Chokes are Skeet and Full. Underside of the right barrel has the gun's serial number and on both barrels the lion rampant stamped. Barrel flats have Birmingham nitro proof marks. The barrels were re-proofed by the Birmingham proof house. Patina case color hardened finished action body is adorned with rose bouquets and scrolls. The action body is fit with double triggers protected by a trigger guard which extends to a long length tang. Top lever is blued, lightly engraved and the left side of the thumb piece is checkered. In gold "SAFE" ahead of the automatic engraved serrated safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with checkered panels behind action, traditional straight hand grip, drop points two panel checkering and a vacant stock oval. Splinter fore-end with Anson style push button release, 14-1/4" LOP to an ebonite buttplate, 6 Lbs. 7 Oz.
