An English made best quality sidelock game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved chopper lump barrels with 2-3/4" chambers that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. The top of the right barrel is roll stamped "JOSEPH LANG AND SON. 102 NEW BOND STREET. LONDON." while the top of the left barrel is roll stamped "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO NEW YORK U.S.A.". The barrels are choked Improved Cylinder & Full. The action body and lockplates are Rose & Scroll engraved with a patina case color hardened finish. The lockplates are engraved "JOSEPH LANG & SON", "LANG'S PATENT" on release levers. Bottom of the action body is engraved "LANG'S PATENT EJECTOR". The action is fit with hand-detachable locks with spring flush release levers, a single mechanical trigger, cocking indicators, blacked engraved top lever with left side checkered thumbpiece and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with English straight hand grip, drop points, vacant gold stock oval and splinter forend with Anson type push button release. 14-1/2" LOP to a 7/8" Silver's style rubber recoil pad, Cast Off 1/4" at face, 6 Lbs. 11 Oz.
