The Essencia is the only handmade gun from Krieghoff. With their pure elegance, first-class craftsmanship and proven technology, these masterpieces of the art of gunmaking fall into the same category as the highly coveted 'best' English or Italian guns. The genuine back action sidelocks and triggers are gold plated, while the 'color-case hardened receiver is engraved with English scrolls and "KRIEGHOFF' engraved in gold on both sides of the action body. The bottom of the action body is engraved 'Essencia' in gold script. The elegant round body action and the Holland & Holland style ejectors ensure responsiveness and easy handling. The 28" blued steel barrels are nicely fit with H&H style automatic selective ejectors with 2-3/4" chambers, choked Cylinder and Modified, tapered smooth, slightly raised concave game rib and a brass bead front sight. Top of the rib is roll marked 'KRIEGHOFF Made in Germany'. The round-body, back-action sidelock action is fit with a Purdey-style third fastener, disc-set strikers, gold-plated cocking indicators, automatic checkered slide safety and a gold washed single trigger that is protected by an engraved double sided rolled edge trigger guard. Oil finished high quality Turkish walnut stock with traditional English straight-grip, Splinter forend with Purdey-style pushbutton release. 15" LOP to a checkered butt.
