A 20 gauge sidelock shotgun with round blued steel 28" barrels with rib extension that are choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. The barrels are fit with a tapered machined concave game rib with a brass front bead. The right barrel reads "LC SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE" while the left barrel reads "HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M'F'R'S FULTON, N.Y., U.S.A. The gun was built upon Hunter's 'Feather Weight' or smaller gun frame as indicated by the serial number prefix of 'FW' of the 'FWE' total prefix. The 'E' indicates that the the gun was shipped with factory installed auto ejectors. The case color hardened finished action body is adorned with scrolls and "LC SMITH" on each lockplate and "S" ahead of serrated safety slide. Action is fit with an internal crossbolt fastener, safety and double triggers. The top lever is checkered on the left side of the thumbpiece. American walnut stock with pistol hand grip, grip cap, splinter forend with the tip being inlayed and roller release and both with checkering. 14-5/8" LOP to an orange Silver's style rubber recoil pad. 6 Lbs. 13 Oz.
