An antique 12 bore bar action hammer sidelock game gun with 30" browned laminated barrels that are fit with extractors, a smooth concave game rib with a brass bead front sight, 3" chambers and choked Cylinder & Cylinder. The rib is roll marked "W C. SCOTT & SON.LONDON.", "LAMINATED STEEL." Bottom of the barrels with original Birmingham black powder proof marks. The case colored non-rebounding hammer action body and locks are adorned with English Arabesque scrolls, "W & C SCOTT & SON" on both locks and fluted fences with a case color hardened finish. The smooth double triggers are protected by a blacked trigger guard that extends to a long bottom tang with the serial number. Reddish-brown English walnut stock with traditional English straight hand grip, vacant stock oval and splinter fore-end with cross pin (wedge) fastener and ebony tip. 14-1/4" LOP to a blacked steel buttplate, Cast Off 1/8" at face, 7 Lbs. - 6 Oz. Shotgun lives in a vintage single leather case with "W. & C. Scott & Son" paper trade label and vacant charge card. Exterior case lid with tablet that reads "E.M. GRAVES". Case comes with square oil bottle, rib brush, turnscrew, striker pot and cleaning accessories.
