Boxlock ejector 20 gauge game gun with 30" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib with extension and a brass bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked modified & modified. The rib is roll marked "WANLESS BROS . SUNDERLAND & SOUTH SHIELDS ." The patina case color hardened action body is adorned with fine English Arabesque scroll engraving. Both sides of the action body are engraved "WANLESS BROS". The action is fit with a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by a blued and engraved trigger guard ending in a bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with round knob grip, checkered stock panels, drop points, fleur-de-lis checkering, wooden butt extension, engraved stock oval and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 15-1/2" LOP to a checkered butt, 6 Lbs. Gun resides in a green canvas Brady case with leather trim.
