An antique English made boxlock ejector 12 gauge game gun with 30" browned round Damascus steel dovetail barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib with doll's head rib extension and a brass bead front sight. The barrels have modern London nitro-reproof marks from 1989 and are chambered for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked skeet & modified. The rib is roll marked 'WESTLEY RICHARDS 170 NEW BOND ST LONDON'. The action body has trace case colors remaining are adorned with fine English Arabesque scrolls. The bottom cover plate, trigger guard, bottom tan, top lever are blacked. Both sides of the action body are engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS' in a banner and 'EJECTOR WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT' upon the top lever. The number '2' gold-inlaid inside an oval on the top lever, rib near breech and fore-end latch lever. The action is fit with a blacked engraved top lever and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the scored and engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by an engraved trigger guard featuring a dog on point and a bird hiding behind a shrub ending in a bottom strap with the gun's serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points, checkered stock panels, engraved stock oval and a splinter fore-end with a horn tip and Deeley lever release. 15-1/4" LOP to a 1-1/8" leather covered recoil pad, 6 Lbs. - 15 Oz.
